Lee Sunmi (1971~) is a South Korean novelist. She made her literary debut in 1999 when her work Aranyaui yojeong (아란야의 요정 Aranya’s Fairy) won the Romance Fiction Contest hosted by Shinyoung Media. Set against the backdrop of modern history, Lee’s works have expanded the realm of romance fiction. SF와 판타지를 쓴다. 사회 문제와 맞닿아 있는 SF를 발표해왔고, 소설 외에도 노동과 젠더가 밀접하게 뒤얽히는 지점들을 파고드는 글을 자주 쓰고 있다. 도시 빈민의 삶을 짊어지고 이십대 내내 시위를 하다 보니 빈곤과 노동에 심하게 집착하는 페미니스트가 되었다. 여러 시공간에서 데모하는 사람들의 이야기를 많이 썼다. 기술이 어떤 인간을 배제하고 또 어떤 인간을 위해 일하는지, 혹은 기술을 통해 배제된 바로 그 인간이 기술을 거꾸로 쥐고 싸울 수 있을지에 대해 관심이 많다. 여성의 경제적 위치를 기준으로 세계를 바라보는 사람을 늘리기 위해 애쓰고 있다. 주로 과학소설을 쓰지만 무슨 글을 써도 빈곤의 그늘을 떨치지 못해서 서글픈 사람. 환상문학 웹진 거울에 필명 앤윈으로 「종의 기원」과 「성문 너머 코끼리를」 게재하며 작가 활동을 시작했다. 『아직은 끝이 아니야』, 『이웃집 슈퍼히어로』, 『여성 작가 SF 단편집』, 조선스팀펑크연작선 『기기인 도로』, 『인어의 걸음마』에 「데자뷔」를 수록하는 등의 앤솔로지에 참여했다. 혼자 쓴 책으로 『유미의 연인』, 『악어의 맛』, 『낮은 곳으로 임하소서』가 있다.

Born in Busan in 1981, she graduated from Hongik University with a degree in Visual Design and from the Korea National University of Arts with a master's in Film. She has directed several short and feature films, with "In the Land of Fantasy" being a notable work. Her first novel, "Today's Mom," was followed by "Under the Mirrorball" in 2021. In 2023, she won the Grand Prize at the 11th Kyobo Book Centre Story Award for her novel "mymy."

She was born in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, and majored in sociology at Korea University. In 2016, she was selected for the Korea Creative Content Agency Story Writer Debut Program and published 『D Club and the Queen's Summer』. She has also published numerous short stories and science fiction romance novels in private media.

Cheon Seonran is a Korean science fiction writer. Her published works include the full-length novels A Broken Bridge, A Thousand Blues, and Nine; and the short story collections Some Shape of Love and No Land.
