Hyun Chan Yang began her literary career in 2013, by winning the Busan Ilbo Annual spring literary contest. She received the 4th Elixir Mystery Award in the short story category later in 2021, and won the MBC drama script contest in 2021 with The Gourmet Detective Heo Gyun. Her short story collections include PALACE TALES OF SLEEPLESS NIGHTS; PALACE TALES OF NAMELESS WOMEN; and FOR QUEEN INHYEON’S HOIBINGHWAN.
