Author Bio 작가 소개

Born in 1987, Kim Hyo-eun studied textile design at Hanyang University. After graduation she became an illustrator, which led to a career in children's books. Kim is the writer and illustrator of I Am the Subway, How We Share Cake, I Am Here, and I Can Do It. Works illustrated by Kim include A Baby on a Train, A Rainy Day, and The Dictionary of a Nine-Year-Old’s Heart. I Am the Subway was a winner of the 2021 New York Times/New York Public Library Best Illustrated Children’s Books Award and won the Children's Publishing Professional category at the 2021 World Illustration Awards. Kim works actively as an illustrator and children's book author.
