Eun-Gwi Chung scrap

  • Eun-Gwi Chung is a bidirectional translator, writer, and English literature critic. She is a professor at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Since earning her PhD on the quality of the ordinary in contemporary American poetry, she has worked to make poetry more widely known through teaching and translation. She has translated the poetry of Lee Seong-Bok, Shim Bo-Seon, Kang Eun-gyo, Ra Heeduk, and others into English, and has translated the poetry of Anne Sexton, William Carlos Williams, Louise Glück, and others into Korean.
